A Ten-Year-Old Girl Wins Ph.D. fellowship to Build Robot in Paris

A French ten-year-old girl Eva has won a prestigious fellowship designed for Ph.D. students after programs creator charmed for her heartwarming application letter in a Facebook post that has shared almost 40k times.

Eva applied in Summer Innovation Fellowship organize with digital agency Five by Five, looking to be a well experienced computer scientists, that give a huge help for her plan to build robots to ‘make the streets of Paris happy.’

She said that she contacted Thymio, A robot company to help Eva with her project. Thymio technology builds with motorized robots that helping children to program in responding to their commands.
