Rich Miner, the Co-Founder of Android, is Leaving GV to Helm Google Education Project

Rich Miner, the Co-Founder of Android is leaving Google Ventures (GV) to start an education project with Google Inc., recently announced.

An Early report that the new project would be like a standalone startup within Google were incorrect, stated by the spokesperson. Miner was not available to any interview yet and declined to share any details about this new project. The GV representatives refused to confirm if the project would be for profit or a part of a philanthropic effort.

Some Google Ventures excellent works are: 

  • Wonder Workshop – a platform in helping kids to educate custom robotics and coding clubs communities.
  • NoRedInk – an app for kids to help write well.
  • Clever – an enterprise tool for schools to log into the classroom or home without wasting a lot of time on name and password.
