The World's Biggest Natural Pearl Discovered in Tourism Office at Puerto Princesa City

From the town of Puerto Princesa by City Tourism Office in Puerto Princesa entrusted to them the largest natural enormous clam pearl in the world, measuring 1 foot wide, 34 kilograms, and 2.2 feet long.

To the Puerto Princesa City Tourism Officer Aileen Cynthia Amurao, The giant pearl was turned over to them by an unknown man who found the specimen more than a decade ago when he was fishing through Palawan.

Amurao also stated that the owner of the Pearl was not aware of the value rather kept as a lucky charm.

The said Pearl presented to public last Monday (Aug. 22) at the Puerto Princesa City Hall.
