Quake Jolts Tokyo Region
A moderately strong earthquake has rattled Tokyo region, and there are no immediate reports of injuries and damages.
The quake hit mid day Sunday with the magnitude of 5, Its epicenter was kilometers ’25 miles’ underground in Ibaraki prefecture in the north of Tokyo, said by Japan Meteorological Agency.
Japan Meteorological Agency also stated that there is no risk of tsunami from the quake.
The Japan;s nuclear regulator said that nuclear power plant areas would suspend operations while it reviews for any problems.
