Warriors Show Six Jersey Designs Before of Opening Chase Center Season

The Warriors will start the 2019 – 2020 season in some new digs in Chase Center in San Francisco and they are continuing to do it sporting some new threads, the team stated.

There will be six varieties of uniforms with features of each as listed in a press release.

The Association Edition will highlight the Warriors jerseys fans know and love with the team Global logo symbol to imply the meaning the team has globally.

The design was first presented to the world before the 2010 – 2011 season. However, it took a bit of a facelift with an updated, more realistic portrayal of the eastern span of the Bay Bridge.

The Icon Edition is pretty much the blue variant of the Association uniform with the team yellow Global logo on the chest.

Those golden sleeves are fire.

The Bay Statement Edition is just that, a uniform that makes a statement. It maintains the team new ‘The Bay’ logo, which gives off a landscape of seaside cliffs facing the water with a bit of a vintage feel.

The Bay Area fog creates an impression on the logo because even on a uniform. The jersey also has a scene evocative of the Golden Gate before the creation of the Golden Gate Bridge.

The Town, City Edition is a tribute to the city of Oakland that has witnessed it all. This uniform was launched during the 2017 – 2018 season with the Oakland city logo in white set on a black jersey.

This thread celebrates the Oakland community and its support for the team.

The San Francisco, Classic edition is a throwback version to the Warriors’ original Bay Area jersey, used upon the team coming to SF from Philadelphia in 1962.

The city name is written beyond the chest on the white jersey with navy, gold and red stripes toward the sleeves including collar. It’s very Jackie Moon-esque, but a classicly retro appearance nonetheless.

Finally, the City, Classic Edition jerseys that were designed by the team 1966 – 1967 owner Franklin Mieuli produces a marriage of the iconic symbols of the Golden Gate Bridge on the face and a cable car on the back of the yellow jersey.

The team has sported this throwback many times over the years.

We’ll be excited to see the threads in action when the Warriors start their season on October 24 at Chase Center upon the new aspect Clippers.
