Elon Musk, SpaceX founder and CEO will present an update on the company next-generation rocket and its plans for trips to the moon and Mars from a developing facility in the southernmost part of Texas.
The rocket is called Starship, this describes the vessel of SpaceX’s vision: “Make humanity a species that lives on more than one planet”.
The day before Musk present SpaceX installed the top nosecone of Starship, making the spacecraft set for its media debut.
The rocket constructed in Texas describes the first repetition of Starship, as it only has three engines placed.
Rather, the last year and final version of Starship will have 6 of the company huge Raptor rocket engines.
SpaceX has ventured more than $1.3 billion across three funding rounds.
SpaceX is one of the most valuable private tech company in the world, with a cost of more than $33 billion.
SpaceX is proposing to begin commercial processes with Starship in 2021.
Musk previously set 2022 as the company’s aim for its first Mars mission, although Starship would just carry cargo for that initial trip.
