Germany beat Italy in Euro 2016, Give Spot to Semi-Finals

Germany defeated Italy in 6-5 marathon shootout which featuring 18 penalties against their old competitive rivals in this major tournaments and finally end their jinx to it.

They will now face the other winners of the quarter-final hosted by France and Iceland that play on Sunday.

The tactical battle ended with 1-1 after the extra time; Usually, clinical Germans missed the three spot kicks but still progressed courtesy of more wayward shooting by their opponents that gives failed to cover 4 of their penalties.

Germany, Jonas Hector had the honor through putting away their 9th kick but even his effort just only made under Gianluigi Buffon’s dive.

Mesut Ozil gives Germany a lead midway through the second-half before ‘Leonardo Bonucci’ responded with  a penalty following a bizarre handball by ‘Jerome Boateng.’

Also, Germany has reached their sixth successive semi-finals in this major tournament and had never previously beaten Italy at major finals.
