A strong 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit off the coast of Jamaica, Cuba including the Caymans on Tuesday.
Also, Officials give tsunami warnings for a wide area of the Caribbean that was later withdrawn.
The earthquake is recorded as 7.3 magnitudes before being raised and was centred 86 miles northwests of Montego Bay.
Jamaica struck at 2:10 PM including 87 miles west southwest of Niquero, Cuba, at a depth of just 6 miles, reported by the U.S. Geological Survey.
There were no direct reports of major damage either injuries, but social media was flooded with posts of images and video of people documenting the situation.
A tsunami alarm was announced for a wide swath of the Caribbean. However, it was later withdrawn.
