Japan reported it’s first case not connected to a recent trip to China.

One of three new cases reported in Japan on Tuesday is a male bus driver in his 60’s that lives in Nara Prefecture.

The gentleman did not go to Wuhan but drove buses with tour associations from the city double this month, officials said.

The man is the first Japanese verified to be infected with the new coronavirus 2019 while this is also the first human-to-human transmission approved in Japan.

Another two patients, a man and woman in their 40’s, are from Wuhan and their circumstances are not serious, according to the health ministry.

Japan has now recorded a result of seven cases.
